🎵 Ambient Discs
Soundscape adds 50+ ambient music discs that play through any jukebox. Every disc fits into one of nine themed categories, so you can pick the vibe you want for a room, a build, or a whole biome.
The Nine Categories
- Nature: crickets, forest rain, forest summer birds, swamp ambience, rustling leaves, wind chimes.
- Water: ocean waves, rivers and streams, waterfalls, bubbling water.
- Weather: thunderstorms, wind.
- Fire: crackling campfires and larger burning fires.
- Cityscape: airports, NY and SF BART subway stations, NY streets, party clubs, skateparks, Brooklyn playground.
- Horror: cave ambience, abandoned church, horror cave, scary storm.
- Industrial: factories, machine rooms, cogs turning, rocks grinding.
- Interior: cafés, Japanese restaurants, large room hum.
- Outdoor: blocks breaking, fairgrounds, sewer, townsfolk chatter, wood creaking.
How to Get Discs
Getting a themed ambient disc happens in three stages.
1. Find Ambient Disc Shards
Ambient Disc Shards are added to several vanilla loot tables:

2. Craft a Blank Ambient Disc
Once you have four shards, combine them in a crafting table to get an Ambient Disc. This is a blank disc on its own and doesn't play any specific sound yet.
3. Combine the Blank Disc with a Material
To get a themed disc, combine the blank Ambient Disc with a specific ingredient in a crafting table. Each ingredient produces a different themed disc. For example, a Water Bucket gives you a water-themed disc, a Feather gives you a different one, and so on across all 50+ variants.
