🛠️ How to Request Features & Submit Bug Reports

Found a bug or have an idea for the pack? File it on our GitHub and we'll take a look. The team checks issues regularly. Here's how to submit one.

🐞 Submitting a Bug Report

If something in the modpack isn't working as intended (e.g. crashes, broken quests, missing textures, etc.), follow these steps:

Go to the "Issues" tab on our Github.
Click the green "New issue" button.
Title your issue clearly (e.g. "Crash when right-clicking on Tranquil Lantern").
Describe the bug in detail, include what you were doing, any error messages, or logs if available.
On the right-hand side, click the ⚙️ gear icon next to "Labels", and select the label "bug".
Once everything is filled out, click "Create issue" (green button at the bottom).

Have an idea for a new questline, structure, mechanic, or cozy quality-of-life mod? We’d love to hear it!

Go to the "Issues" tab on our Github.
Click the green "New issue" button.
Give your idea a clear title (e.g. "Feature Request: Weather-based farming bonuses").
Describe your idea in as much detail as possible, what it would do, how it would work, and why it fits Homestead.
On the right-hand side, click the ⚙️ gear icon next to "Labels", and select the label feature request.
Click "Create issue" (green button).

Once submitted:

A team member will respond to your issue as fast as we can
For bugs: we may ask follow-up questions or request logs
For features: we’ll discuss viability and fit with the design goals of Homestead
