Tired of chipping away block by block? Excavators and Hammers makes large-scale mining and digging feel natural and rewarding, without breaking the vanilla balance!

Craft powerfulHammers and Excavators that mine or dig in a 3×3 area, perfect for clearing stone, dirt, and other materials quickly while keeping the gameplay balanced and authentic to Minecraft’s core experience.

🔨How It Works

Just craft them directly using standard materials!

Each tool follows the vanilla tier progression, from wood all the way to netherite.

Recipes for every variant are shown below with images for easy reference. alt

Here are the recipes for the Hammers and Excavators. The top one is the recipe for the Excavator. The middle one is the recipe for the Hammer. The last one is how to retrieve a Netherite version of your Hammer or Excavator.

  • Balanced for vanilla gameplay (powerful, but not overpowered.)
  • Crisp, vanilla-styled textures that blend perfectly with Minecraft’s aesthetic.
  • Simple crafting system (no complex upgrades or extra steps.)

  • Hammer: Mines a 3x3 area of Pickaxe Mineable blocks. (Stones, Ores, etc.)

  • Excavator: Mines a 3x3 area of Shovel Mineable blocks. (Sand, Dirt, Gravel, etc.)

  • Both tools are the same as vanilla progression. (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite)

  • The Wooden Tools can be used a Furnace Fuel.
  • The Iron > Diamond Tools can be smelted back for one of the material. (Iron Hammer > Iron Ingot)
  • The Netherite Tools can be smelted back for one Netherite Scrap.
  • The Netherite Tools don't burn just like Vanilla tools!

Q:What versions does it support?

A:Currently works on Minecraft 1.20.1 (Fabric only).

Q:Will there be updates?

A:Yes! We plan to port to future Minecraft versions, but no backports.

Q:Will there be a Forge version?

A:No, this mod will remain Fabric-exclusive.

Q:Can I include this in my modpack?

A:Absolutely! Feel free to include it in any modpack.
