FTB Mods for Modrinth Users

If you're playing Homestead through the Modrinth App, you'll need to manually install a few FTB mods that aren't available on Modrinth. These mods are required for the quest system and other features to work properly.

Required Mods​

You need to download and install the following mods:

Important: Make sure to download the exact versions listed above to ensure compatibility with Homestead.

Installation Steps​

  1. Download all the mods from the links above
  2. Open your Homestead instance's mods folder:
    • In Modrinth App: Click on your instance > Three dots (...) next to the settings cogwheel > Open Folder > Navigate to mods
  3. Place all the downloaded .jar files into the mods folder
  4. Launch the game

Why Are These Mods Not on Modrinth?​

FTB (Feed The Beast) mods are only distributed through CurseForge. Since Homestead uses the FTB quest system, Modrinth users need to manually add these mods to their installation.

If you installed Homestead through CurseForge or Prism Launcher (using the CurseForge source), these mods are already included automatically.

Troubleshooting​

Quests not showing up​

  • Make sure all FTB mods are installed with the correct versions
  • Check that the .jar files are directly in the mods folder (not in a subfolder)

Game crashes after adding mods​

  • Verify you downloaded the Fabric versions (not Forge)
  • Ensure you have the exact versions listed above
